- Résumé files and extracted content (for example names, contact details, employment history, and skills found in the document)
- Job-alignment inputs you choose, such as industry, role, skills, experience notes, and job description text
- Practice test details you enter, such as your name, email address, answers, scores, timing, and generated insights
- Help or contact messages you send, including your email address and message text
- Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, request timestamps, rate-limit counters, and aggregated visit or feature-use metrics
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Run résumé and job-alignment analysis and show you results
- Generate and email practice test reports when you provide an email address
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including monitoring errors and abuse
- Respond to help requests you send us
- Produce internal operational records related to Service use
Retention
Uploaded résumes may be stored for a limited period so you can view results and so we can operate the analysis flow. Practice test submissions may be stored in server logs or result files for operational and quality purposes.
Help messages may be retained in a queue or mail system until they are handled or removed according to our operational practices.
We may keep aggregated or de-identified metrics longer because they do not identify you directly.
Your choices
You choose what to upload or submit. If you do not want to provide a résumé, job criteria, or test contact details, you can stop using those features.

Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is intended for job seekers and general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through FitCV, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
