These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FitCV.live (the "Service") at fitcv.live. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What FitCV provides
FitCV offers free tools for job seekers, including résumé review and job-alignment feedback, résumé-focused analysis, timed multiple-choice practice assessments, and related educational content.
FitCV does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, or hiring decisions. Feedback and scores are automated and informational. You should use your own judgment and not rely on the Service as the sole basis for career, legal, medical, or financial decisions.
Practice assessments
Practice tests on FitCV are for learning and self-reflection only. They are not clinical, diagnostic, licensed, or official aptitude or IQ measures. Stress- and behaviour-related items are not medical advice and are not substitutes for professional care.
FitCV is not an employer and does not use these practice results for hiring or selection.
No account required
You can use most features without creating an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you provide.
Your content
You retain ownership of résumés and other content you submit. You grant FitCV a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate the Service: for example, to run analysis, generate a report, or respond to a help request you send.
Résumé analysis may be processed by third-party services that FitCV integrates with to deliver results. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing material.
FitCV may refuse, limit, or stop processing content that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or abuses the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, probe, or overload the Service or its upstream systems
- Bypass rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions
- Use the Service for spam, fraud, or automated abuse
- Misuse help or contact forms
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or republish assessment content at scale without permission
Third-party services
The Service relies on external providers for analysis, email delivery, advertising, hosting, and related infrastructure. Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies.
Links or ads on the Service may lead to third-party sites FitCV does not control.
Advertising
FitCV may display third-party advertisements. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. FitCV is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of advertisers or linked sites.
Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Analysis and other features depend on upstream systems that may be unavailable, slow, or change without notice.
FitCV may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Intellectual property
FitCV owns the Service branding, software, question banks, blog content, and site design, except for content you submit or third-party materials used under license.
You may download or export reports for your personal use. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute FitCV content for commercial or competitive purposes without permission.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitCV disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
FitCV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, data, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid FitCV for the relevant use in the prior twelve months, or zero if the Service was free.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FitCV from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension
FitCV may restrict or block access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or created risk for the Service, other users, or third parties.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
